A little bit about me!

I'm Jade your local Child Restraint Fitter for QLD - Logan City, South Side & Surrounds 😊

I'm a mum to 2 beautiful boys who like to keep me on my toes! My Husband is my number 1 supporter and keeps our world sane.

We have a fur-baby - Boba, he's the coolest Staffy you'll ever meet. Loves kids and is a couch dog, if you sit on his couch he will walk around in circles till you move out of his spot 😅

I work full time in the car motor industry as a stock controller for one of the best dealerships around town, built on family, loyalty and love of the industry, it's an amazing place to be!

I also have a side hustle with one of my besties, which between our 6 kids, our husbands and fur babies it keeps us extra busy creating special gifts for others!

Since my first son was born I really had no idea about anything, you know first time mum and all. One thing I struggled with was car seats, there are so many on the market with all these bibs and bobs and fancy things going on. Prices ranging from $150 all the way up to $800. I naively went for the cheap seats, he fit so it worked - well looking back now HOW WRONG WAS I!

There's so much more to a child restraint then just putting a baby in and going for a drive.

Safety became the biggest priority and although I did do things not recommended or unsafe, at the time I had no idea I had done so many things wrong and illegal. Honestly just making it through the day without crying with a newborn was an accomplishment!

So I studied, I read ALOT of information, and 6 years later I finally got the guts to complete the course and now I am a qualified Child Car Restraint Fitter 👌 I know better so I can do better 🥰 I'm excited to help you and your family learn more about car seat safety, not only follow the law but do better and follow safer practices and keep those precious cargos protected!

Did you know that most children do not outgrow car seats until closer to the age of 9? However legally they can sit unrestrained in an adult seat from the age of 7?

There are so many variables involved but that's why I am here to help you make better choices for our children.

I offer 2 kinds of services:

Car Seat Checks - I can help identify any issues regarding the safety of your installed restraint and offer advice on how to rectify the problems to ensure you're babies and children are better protected should there be an accident.

Child Restraint Fitting - I can legally install your Restraint and ensure you are complying with the AS/NZS standards, Road Rules and offer advice on how to further keep your children safe for years to come!
